Drink plenty of fluids in the summer
The summer heat isn’t sparing Marzahn-Hellersdorf either—it’s time to make sure you’re drinking enough! On hot days, our bodies lose a lot of fluid through sweating. We should drink at least 1.5 to 2 liters of water or unsweetened tea every day—and feel free to drink more when exercising or on particularly hot days. Good to know for our neighborhood: 🚰 Water fountains in Kienbergpark and around the Gardens of the World are perfect for refilling your water bottle🌳 Shady spots like Wuhletalpark are ideal for taking a water break between physical activities🏃 If you’re participating in our fitness activities—remember to always bring a bottle of water with you!
