New Year’s reception of the movement network MaHe On January 27, we celebrated our interactive and moving New Year’s reception at the District Sports Association. We would like to thank for the supportive greetings of the district mayor, Gordon Lemm, and the chairman of the district sports association, Jan Lehmann. Special thanks also go to the numerous actors from the district and the Senate Department who accepted our invitation and contribute to a lively network. In addition to an intensive exchange among each other, the movement network Ma-He and other projects from the district were presented. These include the 2023 Special Olympics World Games, where the district will host the Marshall Islands delegation. The project “Initial happiness – discovering nutrition together” for the promotion of nutritional health in the setting of very young children (in cooperation with the PKV association, peb and DSPN) as well as the district “nutrition strategy” which cooperates with the movement network and the Bewegungsatlas (OE QPK and DSPN). Thanks to the interactive survey, we received high-quality, real-time feedback from the participants, which we will implement in our work. Start fit into the Easter vacations! DEGEWO Movement Challenge

Start fit into the Easter vacations! – 13 – 31 March 2023 What’s behind it? Every school from Neukölln, Marzahn-Hellersdorf and Treptow-Köpenick can register for the degewo movement challenge. But beware, you must be quick. Only 10 schools per district can participate. You can find the respective periods in the following registration windows. Only two time slots are available per day. Each school can compete with a maximum of 50 students. We will bring gym bags and pedometers directly to your school on the day you registered for. Of course, we will then explain to you how they work. Each school can collect as many steps as possible with its students in the 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. time slot on Participation Day. We at DSPN (Dein starker Partner für Netzwerke) promote health promotion and prevention in Marzahn-Hellersdorf through various projects and with great partners. Herewith we would like to introduce ourselves briefly. Nicole Tepper is the project manager for the Marzahn-Hellersdorf Movement Network. Together with five movement networkers, she promotes the topic of movement in the district. You will get to know the movement networkers in detail here in the next few weeks. Antonia Suárez is planning a district food strategy together with Valesca Modery and various actors. In cooperation with the PKV association and the Platform for Nutrition and Physical Activity, a team from the DSPN is developing the prevention programme Anfangsglück (Initial Happiness), which will promote nutritional competence in settings for very young children in Marzahn-Hellersdorf. The initial happiness team will also be presented in more detail in the future.

Neighbourhood Info Evening

25. November 2022

On 24.11.2022, we took part in the hybrid neighbourhood info evening of the Hellersdorfer Promenade neighbourhood management in Helliwood and exchanged views on current health issues in the district and the neighbourhood. We were able to present our project and the movement atlas to the audience on site and via the live stream. Our movement networker Yvonne ensured a good mood with a moving break!
