1.VfL Fortuna Marzahn e.V. / Gymnastics 6 – Fitness + Yoga Gymnastics
22 women and 2 men currently train in our sports group. We train according to the “2 in 1” principle by means of a varied and functional full-body workout with aids (e.g. overball, gymnastic bar, impander, dumbbells, weight cuffs, rope and stepper): fat burning and the training of entire muscle chains and thus movement sequences are combined in a single training unit. The aim of our training is not only to keep our body and mind fit, but also to keep us healthy as a preventative measure.
Every week, we look forward to our sports session with Sabine, because with her well-coordinated and rousing music, but also the gentle sounds of yoga, we forget the stress of everyday life and gain vital energy.
We also sit together several times a year for various occasions outside of our training time. Our group, which has grown from the 90s, can get to know the “new” members who join from time to time.
Offers
Through targeted exercises with elements from full-body gymnastics, Pilates, Qi Gong, Tai Chi and yoga, we gain more strength, flexibility, endurance and coordination. Targeted small training units (e.g. specifically for the fasciae, pelvic floor, small, deeper skeletal muscles, especially in the back and joints) not only improve our posture and balance, but also help prevent osteoporosis. A welcome side effect is a flat stomach, firm bottom and toned legs.
