Temporary play street in Hellersdorf

On September 22, 2024, Maxie-Wander-Straße between Klingenthaler Straße and Carola-Neher-Straße will be transformed into a temporary play street with games and activities from 3 pm to 6 pm.
In addition to the XXL memory by artist Carola Rümper (mp43), residents can look forward to baseball (offered by the puppet theater) as well as throwing games and soap bubbles from the Protestant church community of Berlin-Hellersdorf.
All of this will take place directly on the street.
The temporary play street is part of the Berlin-wide campaign for the European Mobility Week and the International Car Free Day on September 22.
The Senate Department for Mobility, Transport, Climate Protection and the Environment, the districts and the Berlin Alliance for Temporary Play Streets are inviting all Berliners young and old to fill the streets in their neighborhoods with new life on this day.
