Largely unknown in Germany, Subbuteo is THE game for soccer enthusiasts, especially in the UK and Italy. Subbuteo is very similar to real grass sports, with throw-ins, corner kicks, offside, dribbling – and of course shots on goal. Two players compete against each other with eleven playing pieces on a large “felt pitch” – skill is key! In Germany, Subbuteo is supported by a small but very active community. In the eastern part of Berlin, the Subbuteo Club Berlin has been running a regular game in the Biesdorf district center since January 2018, which is open to all interested parties. The event will take place in the new building of the district center in the historic horse stable, Heino-Schmieden-Weg 3, 12683 Berlin.
