Info
MetrumBerlin gGmbH has been working in the Berlin district of Marzahn-Hellersdorf since 2004. It is a recognized independent provider of youth welfare services and runs two child, youth and family centers in Hellersdorf Süd/Kaulsdorf and Hellersdorf-Nord. Its work focuses on the area of outpatient help in accordance with SGB VIII, primarily in the area of individual case help (§30) and family help (§31).
To complement our outpatient work, we have developed a wide variety of concepts for group services in recent years to meet the needs of children, young people and parents.
Offers
Open soccer group in Hellersdorf for kids aged 12 - 20
The soccer group is supported by social education and is aimed at all children and young people between the ages of 12 and 21 from Marzahn-Hellersdorf. It is funded by the neighborhood-oriented violence and crime prevention program. The offer is primarily aimed at children and young people who, due to their families' limited financial resources, are unable to afford the fees for a sports club and/or have difficulties in organizing their leisure time independently.
The goals are both the motivation for physical exercise and performance, as well as the promotion of social skills in a specific group context. Testing one's own soccer skills and abilities is not the primary goal. Rather, the aim is to give young people a framework in which they can collect positive sporting and social "successes" together. The fun of team sport soccer, fair play and mutual respect are at the forefront here.
