On Saturday, August 17, it’s “Open Promenade Day” on the Marzahn Promenade and Viktor-Klemperer-Platz, which offers numerous hands-on activities for families. From 2 to 6 p.m. there will be performances and concerts, including the “Sock Puppet Theater” as well as street dance and taekwondo demonstrations and a piano concert. Rock, hip-hop and cover song concerts are on the program from 6 to 10 p.m. in cooperation with the Orwo-Haus association, which rents out rehearsal rooms to young musicians in Marzahn.
